Since 1979, D Tech Service has provided reliable electronic motor control solutions for customers across various industries. Founded by Dennis M. Tulimieri, Sr. and Mary Alice Tulimieri as a Manufacturers’ Representative Agency, the company quickly became the full-service electrical motor control supplier and team of highly qualified field service technicians it is today.
Tulimieri Associates, Inc. recognized a customer need for local product modification and technical field service for electronic motor control solutions in 1985 and expanded its services to meet these needs. We’ve moved a few times to fit our company’s changing needs best and better serve our customers. The previous location that we occupied in Glastonbury was chosen in 1989, and the warehouse addition was built to accommodate our growing manufacturing business a few years later. With the addition of fleet vehicles in 2018, our Field Service Department now serves the metro New York and Greater Boston and New England areas. In 2024, we moved our entire facility to a location in Cromwell, CT that is able to accommodate our current growth rate for many years to come.
Lisa M. Thibodeaux, Scot J. Pandolfi, and Todd C. Vigorito purchased D Tech Services in 2022 and bring over 80 years of combined experience from employment at Tulimieri Associates, Inc. Customers continue to enjoy the same level of quality service as the new owners expand the capabilities of D Tech Service into the future.

Currently, we proudly employ 34 people in the Cromwell facility. Our family-centered environment and employee support keep employee retention rates high and ensure employee satisfaction. Timeline
- 1979: Founded by Dennis & Mary Alice Tulimieri in Glastonbury, CT
- 1982: Moved to Hartford, CT to accommodate our company’s growth
- 1985: The company expanded to include service VFDs
- 1989: Moved back to Glastonbury, CT
- 1990: Founders purchased the current building to accommodate further expansion and the addition of engineering services
- 1996: Founders built an addition to accommodate a larger production facility
- 2022: Original owners sell to the new, current owners
- 2024: Entire facility moved from Glastonbury to Cromwell, CT
